The Shareholders’ Meeting is Credito Real’s supreme decision-making body and is held at least once a year within the first months after the closing of each financial year to discuss and approve, among other affairs:
- The annual reports prepared by the Company’s Board of Directors, the Audit and Corporate Practices Committees and CEO
- The Company’s annual financial statements
- The appointment of the Company’s directors
The calls to the Company’s Shareholders’ Meetings are published in the electronic system established by the Mexican Ministry of Economy (Secretaria de Economia) or, otherwise, in the Official Gazette or in one of Mexico’s leading newspapers with at least 15 calendar days prior to the Meeting.
